Plunge Community Guidelines
DRAFT: not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
These rules apply to everything you publish on the Plunge hub or share through the lobby.
What belongs here
- VR builds, controls, comfort settings and fixes that you made for a game you own.
- Honest descriptions. Label your build's quality truthfully: Native VR (real stereo VR through the engine), Injected 3D (depth-based 3D from outside the engine) or Virtual screen (the flat game on a big screen). Do not call a build a higher tier than it is.
- A real play test. Fill in the version and build you tested on and how long you played.
- Credit and licences for any third-party tool or loader you include.
What is not allowed
- A game's own content. No models, textures, sounds, levels, packaged game files, or decompiled game code.
- Cheats and unfair play. Nothing that gives an advantage in online play, interferes with other players, or works around anti-cheat.
- Official servers. Multiplayer builds must not connect to a game's official servers.
- Piracy and DRM bypass. Nothing that lets someone play a game they do not own.
- Malware and hidden behaviour. No programs that harm a device, steal information, mine coins, phone home without saying so, or do something other than what the description says.
- Secrets and personal information. Do not include passwords, keys, tokens or anyone's private details.
- Illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual content involving minors, or content that is deceptive (for example, impersonating another creator or a game publisher).
Third-party programs
Programs that a build ships (such as mod loaders) must be declared, with their name, author, licence, source link and a checksum, and you must have the right to share them. Do not copy code licensed under a licence you will not follow.
Reports and removal
Report a problem to support@plungevr.com. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright and Takedown Policy. We can remove any content and end publishing access for breaking these rules, and we do not have to give notice first when safety is at stake.
